While I was already in Luxor with my post, this reminded me of the pyramids of Egypt, below which are the tombs of the great Pharaohs!

Hi Nathalie--
I didn't find this chilling at all, but rather intriguing, drawing me further into the descent, especially the aroma of earth. There's nothing that 'descends' me more quickly or surely than the smell of earth.
