Mazarine

MAZARINE

–noun
1. a deep, rich blue.
2. a silver strainer fitting over a meat dish and used for draining the water from boiled flesh.

I consider mazarine patterns
In those china bowls
Wondering which dish
They might best highlight

Splendid short-form poem, and what a lovely dish.

I like the deep, rich blue meaning. The photo and the words perfect!
