Vapid

VAPID

2. without liveliness or spirit; dull or tedious






















After a life of vapid tendencies,
Mid-life crisis came as a shock
Autumn never more flamboyant
In its poignancy.

Oi, this reminds me of my chemistry teacher almost 50 years ago. His personality seemed rather flat to some, and the kids changed his name from Dr. Davidson to Dr. Vapidson.
