knowledge of things before they exist or happen; foreknowledge; foresight.






















If prescience is the art of foresight
What type of science is that of hindsight?
History?
Could history be a science instead of a mere learned man's dream?

Depends on who's writing it I think.
*The Education of Henry Adams' by Henry Adams won a Pulitzer in its time and in 200 pages while attempting to discover 'What was an education' cast a perceptive light on the last half of the 19th century. HA's father had been Ambassador to the Court of St James during the civil war. HA later was a professor at Harvard.
