Cynosure

CYNOSURE

–noun
1. The constellation of the Lesser Bear, to which, as containing the polar star, the eyes of mariners and travellers were often directed.
2. That which serves to direct.
3. Anything to which attention is strongly turned; a centre of attraction.






















The mirror acted as cynosure
Attracting the eye
Where it might sink and founder
An abyss that could not reflect.
