SMITHEREENS
–noun (plural)
small pieces; bits
Time, that Rogue of Cups
Tipsy fool bully
Gyrating until...
Dizzying until...
The clock stops your heart
Your empty cup falls
Smashed to smithereens
Seconds flying off,
Untimely shards
Piercing straight through hearts.

Excellent use of the prompt. I've had to drop out for this month as I have too much work. Teaching 60 hours in one month is no joke - even if it is great fun.
Hopefully I'll get back to Bratislava in May.
Very clever I am in awe of you, such imagination.
Describing time as "that rogue of Cups" gives reference to much mystery and intrigue. Love your comparisons and how time too will one day; "Smash to Smithereens" maybe in that Cern particle separator. Powerful!
Very powerful ... lots of emotion packed into very few words. Great job!
wow. can i go fill my cup again before i fall down. smiles.
"Wow" is the operative word, Nathalie, though it's nowhere near to your eloquence!
Wonderful reeling rhythms!
sounds like a tarot reading to this poor prognosticator.
rel

"The clock stops your heart". Love that! Nice!
Untimely shards, eh? Very profound Natalie. Loved it
I like all the imagery here.
I saw it all!
Nathalie,
You took a moment and froze it in a wonderful snapshot. I really liked it.
I like your take on this piece. This is beautifully done.
