Hey there, Nat! I haven't been much around the LJ, thought I'd drop in here to see what wonderful stuff you've created. And what do I find? Bernini and the one statue that has always given me pause.

This statue is not much worse than the Ecstasy of St. Theresa, you know...

To show you how far out of it I am these days... I thought it WAS the Ecstasy of St. Theresa. Ha! I do recall this statue also, but now who the saint is. Oh dear. It is BErnini, though, right?
Okay... never mind. Found it in the book used during my university course on Bernini. Blessed Ludovica Albertoni. San Francesco a Ripa. ***slinks away with head hanging down***
