Leach

LEACH

Permeate or penetrate gradually.




She would sink into the cushion
Until it was entirely leached with her scent,
A keepsake he would sniff at, forlorn, when she was away.

It brings to mind the other kind of leech. I recently watched African Queen and I hate the scene where Bogart comes out of the water covered in them. :P
