Very atmospheric, dark and moody, almost intimidating! Great haiku!

It's humbling yet reassuring to know we return to earth. And earth claims us.

I have always loved the aroma of fresh turned earth. A place we will all return one day.

While I was already in Luxor with my post, this reminded me of the pyramids of Egypt, below which are the tombs of the great Pharaohs!

Tumblewords' "Chilling!" is my exact reaction. Most definitely. Brilliant.

Hi Nathalie--
I didn't find this chilling at all, but rather intriguing, drawing me further into the descent, especially the aroma of earth. There's nothing that 'descends' me more quickly or surely than the smell of earth.

This is lovely! Thank you--

fresh air is always a treat after such dampness, even if the light hurts at first.
