a European umbelliferous plant, Coriandrum sativum, widely cultivated for its aromatic seeds and leaves, used in flavouring food, etc. 

Not an Italian favourite
Disliked by many
Adored by a select few
Coriander can be hard to find
But well worth the hunt

I can send you tons of it. I have to be careful not to mistake coriander for parsley here in the market.
