Irriguous

IRRIGUOUS

-adj.
1. Well-watered, as land.

 I remember our childhood
Our shared worried dreams
And the last irriguous
Entangled sheets.
Our mothers’ relief
Whispers behind our back
While we ran after kites
Finally reassured
That we weren’t adopted
Or about to be abandoned.
