Spall

SPALL

—noun
1. a splinter or chip of ore, rock, or stone
—verb
2. to split or cause to split into such fragments

I admit it
I wanted your heart to spall
The hurt to turn your eyes blue
Blood on your lips

I had no thoughts
Of basic ballistic rules
The shards cut right through me
As I counted points.
